After cleansing, apply an appropriate amount to the face using your palms or a cotton pad. Gently pat until fully absorbed, then follow with serum and moisturizer.

Use morning and/or evening depending on your skin’s comfort. If you are new to azelaic acid or have sensitive skin, start a few times per week before increasing use. During the day, always finish with sunscreen. Avoid direct contact with the eyes, eyelids and lips. Do not use on broken, irritated or freshly exfoliated skin.

A slight white residue or powdery film may appear because azelaic acid naturally occurs in powder form. Follow with serum or moisturizer to help the toner absorb smoothly.
